Ultimate Frisbee Success

On Saturday October 18 Gonzaga's Ultimate Frisbee team became the first second level team to win the annual DCU Beginners' Tournament. The team improved on last year's second place finish, defeating DCU, Trinity College, Tallaght IT and UCD, among others, on their way to the final in which they defeated University of Limerick.

Congratulations to the team (pictured here with their coach, Mr. Mark Earley) on Gonzaga's first ever tournament win. Thanks, also, to Mr. Alan Doyle whose efforts over the last four years laid the foundations for this success.

The team will play next in the first ever All-Ireland Schools' Tournament in November.
